Massachusetts Condo gets a More Space Place Makeover

When designers of the show Flipping Boston acquired a 330 sqft condo, they enlisted More Space Place to help.

Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) February 07, 2013 - When designers on the hit A&E show Flipping Boston took on the renovation of the 330 sq foot condo in Lynn, Mass., they enlisted the help of More Space Place, the experts in space-saving home décor and organization.  By installing space-saving furniture like a Murphy Bed, designers were able to increase usable space without major renovations. On the show, designers Peter Souhleris and Dave Seymour were tasked with renovating the cozy condo in an effort to move the property. The one-room studio features an 8’ x 10’ kitchen and a mere 11’ x 20’ of living space, which is used for dining, entertaining and sleeping.

To create the new layout of the living room, the show’s interior designers met with Keith Belair, store owner of More Space Place Salem, N.H. By utilizing More Space Place furniture that mounts to the wall and is stored vertically, rather than using traditional furniture that often takes up floor space, the team was able to make the space both fashionable and functional.

On one side of the main room, the team installed a queen-sized New Yorker Panel Wall Bed, a cousin to the Murphy bed, which features shelving, slide-out nightstands and cabinet space on both sides of the bed. On the other side of the room, a sleek entertainment center and custom-built desk were installed to give the room even more storage space.

The designers chose a new, richly colored and deeply textured melamine finish in Moka Fodente, with black trim to accentuate the light gray walls and light hardwood flooring.

“This renovation is the perfect example of what we do,” Belair said. “More Space Place is all about helping people make the most of their space by utilizing built-in organization and customized storage to meet their individual needs.”

More Space Place cannot reveal the end result of the rehab, but Souhleris and Seymour are sure to deliver entertainment and the perfect use of More Space Place’s unique products. The show is scheduled to air at noon on March 2, 2013.

About Flipping Boston

House flipping is back but the stakes are much higher. In Flipping Boston, time is the enemy as flippers race to renovate before prices fall even further. Peter Souhleris and Dave Seymour gamble on a strategy to give them an edge in a tough market – they design high end and they flip fast. There’s never a dull moment when Peter’s attention to detail gets in the way of Dave’s need for speed but the end result shows this duo is at the top of their game. The real question is, will there be a jackpot for them at the end of each flip?
