Located at 3524 S. Market Street in West Valley, Utah, the Design Option III, seven-story hotel was developed by West Valley Lodging Initiatives, LLC and will be managed by Renascent Hospitality. The hotel features onsite dining with a Shula’s Steak House, touted as the #1 celebrity steak house in America for more than twenty years. The property has been the focal point of a multi-million dollar, multi-phase revitalization project in downtown West Valley City, and brings 162 suites and 7,500 square feet of meeting space to this thriving downtown area.
Embassy Suites Salt Lake/West Valley City is the cornerstone of Fairbourne Station, a $500 million mixed-use development encompassing 40 acres in the heart of West Valley City. The upper upscale hotel joins 200,000-square-feet of retail space, 200,000-square-feet of office space, 1,000 urban residences and Fairbourne Station Promenade, which features four acres of urban lineal park and a plaza space.

The gala included an official ribbon cutting ceremony and silent auction to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. Local community officials in attendance included Mike Winder, mayor, West Valley City; Wayne Pyle, city manager, West Valley City; Nicole Cottle, assistant city manager, West Valley City. Kevin Martin, administrator and M.J. Miller, director of development from Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City were present to accept the donation made in honor of the hotel’s grand opening.
