Window Genie of Savannah Gives Back: Donates to the 11th Annual Candler Clays Charity Shoot & Auction

Window Genie donates gift certificate for a free house wash or external window cleaning to the silent auction at the Candler Clays Charity Shoot and Auction being held February 22nd and 23rd.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) February 21, 2013 - Window Genie is the nationally ranked franchise of home services known to "Clean Windows and a Whole Lot More!" A whole lot more includes giving back to the community through Window Genie's system-wide give back program, Windows 4 Wishes. Ben Francis, owner of Window Genie Savannah has chosen to give back to his community through donating a gift certificate for the silent auction at the Candler Clays Charity Shoot and Auction February 22nd and 23rd.

This event is benefiting the Oncology Research Fund at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital and the Nancy & J.C. Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion. The Oncology Research fund was developed to help place patients in clinical trials and to purchase research equipment necessary to improve treatment and to move closer to finding a cure for cancer. This allows residents of Chatham and surrounding counties to receive treatment and to be placed on clinical trials without having to travel long distances and incur the additional financial burdens of travel. For some, traveling for treatment would not be an option. The Candler Clays Charity Shoot & Auction has benefited various programs at the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion for over a decade. The event draws participants and donors from various parts of the community to raise money for this worthy cause.

Ben Francis' wife, Jessy, works for St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital and described their connection to this cause, "We all know someone who has been affected by cancer; whether directly or indirectly we have all been touched. We have seen it's devastating effects and want to do our part to help move toward more effective treatments and ultimately a cure. We are fortunate to have the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion, a state of the art cancer research facility, right here in our community. We want to do our part to give back to the community that has been so generous to us."
