Jamba Juice Hosts National Hiring Day on Tuesday, March 5th

In Support of White House National Summer Jobs and Youth Employment Initiative

EMERYVILLE, Calif., March 1, 2013 // PRNewswire // --

What:

Jamba Juice, in support of the White House "Summer Jobs+" initiative has once again committed to put our nation's youth to work this summer. For the second consecutive year select Jamba Juice locations across the U.S. will be hosting a "Summer Jobs+" National Hiring Day to identify and recruit youth for up to 3,500 Jamba team member or shift manager positions.

Jamba Store Management will be conducting interviews from 2:00 p.m-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5th with the goal of identifying qualified applicants to fill summer and/or regular job positions in local stores*.

Applicants are requested to bring a list of references and a completed application, available online at: http://www.jambajuice.com/careers.

*Qualified applicants may be hired for neighboring stores in close proximity to the recruiting location where interviews are taking place.

Qualifications Required:

Team Member: Must be 18 years of age and have basic computer and data entry skills. Able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout assigned shift. Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift. Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40ºF to -10ºF.

Shift Manager: Available to work 25+ hours per week across variable shifts as assigned weekly. Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food/retail, be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma. All team member requirements for lifting, standing, bending, reaching, scooping and mobility in walk-in refrigerator/freezer apply.
