Sun Tan City Opens 11 New Franchise Locations During First Two Months Of 2013

Chain now has 233 Company-Owned and Franchise Salons Operating in 17 States

March 04, 2013 // Franchising.com // LOUISVILLE, KY – Sun Tan City announced today that franchisees have opened 11 new salons through the first two months of 2013, bringing the total number of franchise locations to 140. Together with the 93 salons owned and operated by the company, this brings the total number of Sun Tan City salons to 233, operating in 17 states.

The company’s focus on franchise growth has allowed the Louisville-based chain to open locations in eight states in 2013 – Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The company also recently announced the conversion of 5 salons in New York State, and the company has signed development agreements for additional salon openings in 2013.
