For 2013, FBR50 made BIGGBY a Top 20 Franchise in the category of Food and Beverage, which is a great honor. BIGGBY also was awarded as a Top 50 Franchise in Franchisee Satisfaction. Biggby Coffee is celebrating its’ 18th Birthday this year and what a first present to receive.
Franchise Business review is a national franchise marketing research firm that performs independent, unbiased surveys of franchise satisfaction. Each year FBR conducts independent surveys of franchisees across all franchise leading brands. The particular award that Biggby Coffee received indicates industry leading levels of franchisee satisfaction. Only 200 American franchises were recognized for outstanding franchisee satisfaction, and Biggby Coffee was one.
“This company was founded on the values of being happy, having fun, making friends, loving people and drinking great coffee,” Fish said. “It’s awesome to know that not only are our customers experiencing these values, but this report shows that our franchisees are too! It reflects that they genuinely love what they do each and every day.”
When compared with the other concepts on the list, the approximate total investment for a BIGGBY COFFEE franchise is more than $160,000 less than the median investment of the other top 50 brands. BIGGBY COFFEE looks for continuing success on March 20th when they celebrate their customers on their birthday with an all-day sales event. About Biggby Coffee®
East Lansing, Mich.-based Biggby® Coffee opened a single store in March of 1995 based on the founding principle that coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike would benefit from a less pretentious approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. Biggby Coffee introduced connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, and barista staff surprised guests with simple gestures like free kazoos and bouncy balls for no other reason than to brighten their day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today Biggby Coffee has 164 cafes open or under contract across six states including: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas.
