March 08, 2013 // Franchising.com // LONDON – UK-based janitorial supply house Janitorial Express has been named the winner of the Best Business Turnaround in Europe Award at the 2013 Business Excellence Awards announced recently by ActionCOACH, the world’s number one business coaching firm, the company sponsoring the event.

The Business Excellence Awards honour the “best of the best” results in small and medium sized businesses from around the world, and showcases exceptional results for business owners, entrepreneurs, their teams and their companies.

Janitorial Express was among more than 400 companies participating in the event this year. Winners were announced at the Business Excellence Awards ceremony held recently at the Cascais Mirage in Cascais, Portugal.

“It’s a great honour to win this award. I’m truly humbled by it,” Janitorial Express’ Managing Director Gary Fage said.

“Three years ago we were dead and buried. It looked like we were going out of business. But I’m pleased to tell you that over the last 3 years our gross profit has gone up by 83%.”

The 2013 Business Excellence Awards and the 2013 Business Excellence Forum are sponsored by ActionCOACH, the world’s number one business coaching firm.

The events are part of the company’s on-going commitment to innovation, business excellence and business re-education for owners and teams who operate and work in small-and-medium sized businesses.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the Business Excellence Forum featured seminars with top speakers in the world of business, including Sir Clive Woodward and ActionCOACH Founder and Chairman Brad Sugars.

At the awards ceremony Gary acknowledged the help of his ActionCOACH Business Coach Parag Prasad.

“It’s something I’m proud of and I think you should be too because you’ve helped me immensely.”
