Weichert Relocation Resources Expands Global Leadership With Vice President, Latin America

Working from the company’s new Center of Excellence in Miami’s Blue Lagoon business district, Higuera will manage Weichert’s operations in Latin America, spearheading strategic expansion and helping clients optimize their workforce mobility programs across this region.

Hailing from Colombia and fluent in English and Spanish, Higuera has over 20 years of experience preparing companies and mobile employees for success in the LATAM market. He also possesses a solid track record for building service and support teams in this region.

Higuera comes to Weichert with extensive workforce mobility experience, having held leadership positions at such companies as Brookfield and Prudential Relocation. As VP, Latin American Operations with Prudential, he was responsible for client relations, supplier development, new business, logistics and service support for the company’s entire Latin America footprint. In this capacity, he helped such companies as Intel, Philip Morris, Panamco and Amgen deploy critical talent in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile and other LATAM countries.

In addition to his workforce mobility experience, Higuera has served as Sales Manager, Latin America for American Express International, Chief Marketing Officer for Banorte Financial in Mexico, and Executive Director with UNO Financial Group, responsible for business units in Panama and Peru.
