Dryer Vent Wizard Recognizes Outstanding Franchisees at National Conference

DETROIT, MI- (Marketwire - Mar 18, 2013) - Dryer Vent Wizard (DVW), a national franchise that specializes in dryer vent repair, replacement, alteration, cleaning and maintenance for residential and commercial clients, recently recognized five outstanding franchisees at its annual conference, held earlier this month at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Florida.

The awards were presented at DVW's national meeting during three days of informational programs and networking with the Appliance Service Training Institute.

Bob Dougherty of Nassau County, New York, received DVW's "Pioneer" award for purchasing, field testing and providing valuable feedback for the company's new multi-unit compressor package that is used to clean larger dryer vent systems.

Manny and Joyce Diesman of the greater Chicago area received the "Shining Star" award for their generosity and support for people in need and support of DVW's fundraising efforts for the Children's Burn Foundation during National Fire Prevention in October.

Harold Bert of Overland Park, Kansas received the company's "System Builder" award for his behind-the-scenes assistance on technical and safety issues and policies.

Robb Vandenberg of northeast Wisconsin, was named "Franchisee of the Year" for outstanding contributions and performance throughout 2012, and Robert Bryfogle of central Texas earned "Rookie of the Year" for outstanding performance in sales, customer service, workmanship and marketing during his first year of operation.

Nationwide, there are a total of 62 franchisees serving more than 9,000 communities of all sizes. Along with providing cleaning and maintenance services to help prevent dryer fires, DVW franchisees and technicians help raise public awareness about fire prevention and energy savings.
