Pizza Nova Continues 50th Anniversary Celebration with 50,000 Prizes

In celebration of their 50th Anniversary, Pizza Nova introduces a NEW style of pizza and announces they’re giving away 50,000 prizes to lucky customers.

March 20, 2013 // Franchising.com // TORONTO - Pizza Nova, the Ontario based Pizza Chain continues the celebration of their 50th Anniversary with the launch of the Romana – Pizza al Taglio and a Peel to Reveal Contest, offering walk-in customers a chance to win one of 50,000 prizes.

“In honour of our incredible customers, and Italian heritage we’re giving away Italian-inspired prizes, like Trips for 2 to Rome, Italy; Italian Cooking Classes, Wine Tours, Espresso Makers, Gitoni Tables, Shopping Sprees, a Vespa, and so much more... ” said Stephanie Angelone, Pizza Nova’s VP of marketing “... and given it’s our 50th anniversary, 50,000 prizes seemed like just the right number of prizes.”

Customers can now walk into any participating Pizza Nova location, purchase any slice, including the new ROMANA – Pizza al Taglio slices; that will all be served in the Peel to Reveal promotional slice trays.

When asked about the new ROMANA-Pizza al Taglio slices; recently launched chain-wide, Pizza Nova, President Domenic Primucci explains that “The ROMANA – Pizza al Taglio, which means pizza by the slice, is a style of pizza that’s incredibly popular in Rome. We’ve introduced this special dough, and bake it in particular trays we’ve imported from Italy. It’s a uniquely crisp and fluffy product you can’t truly appreciate until you’ve tried it.”

The ROMANA – Pizza al Taglio, is available only in-stores, and available for slices only. The Peel to Reveal Contest is also available in-stores only, and ends April 28, 2013 or while supplies last. Whichever comes first.
