Smoothie Factory Signs Master Franchising Agreement to Develop in the Caribbean Region

First stores under agreement to open in the Cayman Islands.

DALLAS, TX (PRWEB) March 21, 2013 - Smoothie Factory, a leader in today’s juice bar industry, today announced the company has signed a master franchise agreement with ASK7 Enterprises Ltd to develop the brand throughout the Caribbean countries. The agreement covers a total of 25 plus countries in the Caribbean including Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and Bermuda. The agreement calls for the development of Smoothie Factory stores within the Caribbean Region and also for sub-franchising of the Smoothie Factory brand from ASK7 Enterprises Ltd.

The first store under the agreement will open in Cayman Islands, during the second quarter of 2013 and with plan to expand to the Dominican Republic in the next 12 – 18 months.

The new stores will be tastefully decorated with bright colors, rich textures, and a modern design. The front counter will take center stage where guests can watch as all of Smoothie Factory’s innovative smoothies and fresh squeezed juices are prepared. The menu features a wide variety of smoothies including everything from the signature Factory Original™ and Strawberry Patche™ to Power Shots™ and Meal Replacement Smoothies.

In addition to the store’s new look and feel, Smoothie Factory will also adapt its menu to the Caribbean palate. The brand will offer traditional American favorites like Peanut Butter Powerhouse™, while also offering traditional flavors, including The Mango Smoothie™ and The Tropical Smoothie™. The shop’s official grand opening will be celebrated with much fanfare, including a ceremony complete with ribbon cutting.

The signing of the agreement marked the continuing expansion of the Smoothie Factory System internationally. Over the next few months, Smoothie Factory plans to celebrate the opening of stores in Jeddah and Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Delhi, India, and Newfoundland, Canada. With the opening in the Cayman Islands Smoothie Factory will operate in 7 countries.
