RE/MAX R4 Convention
LAKE FOREST, Calif. & DENVER - MARCH 26, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - RE/MAX, a leading global real estate franchisor, and RES.NET, a provider of software applications connecting real estate professionals and consumers, announced today the success of the recent RE/MAX R4 Convention. RES.NET was the primary sponsor of this year’s event, which celebrated the RE/MAX 40th anniversary and had more than 8,000 RE/MAX agent attendees from 58 countries.
The agreement between RE/MAX and RES.NET, announced in February, provides RE/MAX agents direct access to RES.NET’s cloud-based platform and enables them to better cultivate relationships and manage transactions, dramatically improving the experience for consumers. A video featuring RES.NET executives was shown throughout the event, which highlighted the current housing market, as well as strategies for combating challenges agents commonly face.
RES.NET president and COO, Todd Mobraten, delivered a presentation to agents focusing on how they must adapt their businesses to correspond with changing consumer preferences. On RES.NET’s sponsorship of R4 and relationship with RE/MAX, Mobraten said, “Partnering with RE/MAX has allowed us to take the expertise we’ve gained from years of experience in the default space and share it with agents managing any type of transaction. RES.NET’s booth gave agents an opportunity to receive demonstrations from system experts and speak with members of the company’s executive team. Additionally, for each booth visitor RES.NET made a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®, a charitable organization RE/MAX has supported since 1992.
