Roetzel Promotes Jaime A. Maurer to Partner

“We are pleased to recognize Jaime for her impressive legal accomplishments," said Beverly Grady, Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Fort Myers office. "She is an outstanding person and colleague and is well deserving of her promotion.”

Ms. Maurer, who formerly held the position of Senior Counsel in the Fort Myers office, focuses her practice on representing employers in disputes and counseling with respect to any and all employment law issues. She has litigation experience in employment, business and commercial law at the federal, state and local levels. She routinely handles cases involving discrimination law, alleged breaches of employment contracts, wage and hour compliance, potential violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and other federal and state employment laws. She is also a member of the firm's Health Care Reform Team, which advises employers on compliance with the new federal health care legislation.

Ms. Maurer earned her B.A. at Vassar College and her J.D. at Brooklyn Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and New York.
