Wyndham Hotel Group Rebrands Holiday Inn San Diego on the Bay.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2013 - Effective March 1, 2013, the former Holiday Inn San Diego on the Bay has joined the upscale Wyndham® Hotels and Resorts portfolio, part of Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company with over 7,340 hotels. As part of the conversion, the property has been rebranded the Wyndham San Diego Bayside and Wyndham Hotel Group’s management company has taken on management of the hotel.

The reflagging and management services are a result of an agreement between Wyndham Hotel Group and FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated, the owner of Wyndham San Diego Bayside.

The property will undergo extensive renovations starting mid-November, 2013 and will significantly add to the Wyndham® brand's existing footprint of 76 hotels and over 18,500 rooms in the United States.

Wyndham San Diego Bayside features three restaurants on property, including Ruth’s Chris Steak House, famous for serious steak and sizzling personality; Elephant & Castle, which offers a combination of British classics and North American favorites coupled with a list of over 100 beers and an extensive selection of Scotch whiskeys; and Hazelwood’s Waterfront Deli, featuring a casual setting or sandwich on the go.

Wyndham San Diego Bayside is a 14-story, full-service hotel located at 1355 North Harbor Drive in the heart of San Diego.
