Two New Associates Join FaegreBD's IP Practice

Minneapolis (26-March-2013) - Two new attorneys have joined the intellectual property practice at Faegre Baker Daniels. Grace Kim joins the firm as an associate, and will focus her practice on patent prosecution in the health care, medical devices and technology, and manufacturing and industrials industries. Stuart Nelson, also an associate, will focus on patent prosecution and other IP litigation in a range of industries.

Kim, who recently graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, joins the firm after nearly a decade at Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, Minnesota, where she worked in the cardiology, rhythm and vascular (CRV) group, first as a quality engineer, then as a research and development engineer, and finally as a manger of research and development engineering. In addition to her law degree, Kim has a master's degree in mechanical engineering and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, both from the University of Minnesota.

Nelson was previously a patent litigation attorney with Kinney and Lange in Minneapolis. He earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated cum laude, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, with distinction, also from the University of Minnesota.
