Healthy Snacks for Businesses in Mesa, AZ

March 25, 2013 - Businesses in the Mesa, AZ area will now have the opportunity to choose healthy snacks with new local operator Todd Nagle and his Grow Vending business.

Eager to offer a healthy alternative to “snack time,” Nagle believes the community will benefit from his program. “My community supports healthy eating very well. From the people I’ve talked with, it seems the business community realizes it is in their best interest for employees to be healthy, and I’m excited to offer that alternative.”

Nagle was particularly drawn to Grow for its advanced technology and fresh, modern look. The Grow Modular Machines are operated with a Revenue Control Station. The RCS allows for any type of payments, including cash, coin, debit/credit card and Grow smartcards. The machines also have the ability to track all sales data and can be monitored wirelessly.

Smartcards are another feature that businesses have found to be very valuable. The Grow Smartcard enables the tracking of purchases and machine usage and operators are able to download valuable information. Smartcards may be provided to locations allowing consumers the ability to pre-load funds onto each card and purchase products from each of the vendors. Rewards programs can also be offered allowing for discounts on multiple product purchases.

With businesses as his initial target customer, Nagle believes they will welcome the Grow Vending concept and its technology.

“To begin, businesses want healthy alternatives for their employees. Grow Vending offers fresh, healthy and good tasting snack alternatives, which many times compliment business health initiatives,” explains Nagle. “Later, I would like to see my business expand into local schools, sports facilities, parks and community centers,” he adds.

As a generally active and healthy person, Todd Nagle understands the importance of nutrition and healthy living. He has been a counselor and math teacher for at-risk youth for the last seven years, in addition to being involved with local organized high school athletics. Nagle sees and recognizes the growing trend toward healthy sports nutrition.

“In the past few years I have become more aware and better educated about healthy eating habits and their benefits. I wanted to become the owner of my own destiny and I feel strongly that as a Grow Vending operator, I am offered the perfect opportunity,” he concludes.
