AND MCLEAN, Va. - Aimbridge Hospitality and DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide's fastest growing full service brand, today announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Greenway Plaza in Houston, Texas, which will soon undergo a $15 million dollar renovation. Formerly a Renaissance, the hotel is conveniently located in the trendy Greenway Plaza area just minutes from The Galleria, Midtown, the Museum District, Minute Maid Park and Reliant Stadium. Garrison Investment Group owns the hotel, which will be managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.
The DoubleTree by Hilton represents Aimbridge Hospitality's fifth transaction with Garrison Investment Group, and the tenth DoubleTree by Hilton branded hotel in the Aimbridge Hospitality portfolio. It also marks the fifth DoubleTree by Hilton in the Houston area.
The 20 story, 388-room DoubleTree Houston Greenway Plaza features regional cuisine at the full-service restaurant Bistro 59, more than 26,000 square feet of elegant event space and an outdoor heated pool. Guests will also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi in public spaces throughout the property, 24-hour fitness and business centers, and our signature daily Wake Up DoubleTree breakfast buffetTM offers hot & cold options including; omelet station, fresh fruit, bagels & pastries, eggs, potatoes, sausage & bacon.

As a participant in the Hilton HHonors guest loyalty program, the hotel will offer guests the ability to earn and redeem points, and Diamond HHonors members will receive complimentary breakfast in the executive lounge during weekday stays. Gold and Diamond level members will receive a complimentary breakfast buffet.
The hotel will undergo a $15 million renovation beginning this summer, with updates and improvements being made to the property's public space, meeting space and guest rooms.
