April 12, 2013 // Franchising.com // EAST LANSING, MI. - “Biggby Coffee feels like home. You walk into a Biggby store and there's a relaxed, at home feeling. Customer interactions and the relationships built within the store is something I love about Biggby.” Adam Rector’s enthusiasm shows when he talks about opening his second Toledo area Biggby Coffee location.
The Sylvania store is opening on Tuesday, April 16th. During the Grand Opening week, the store will offer great drink specials! Customers can download and print their coupons for each day by going to: http://www.biggby.com/images/ewards/352GrandOpeningEward.html.
After learning about Biggby Coffee when his mother opened up a Biggby store in Lima, Rector decided that he wanted to accomplish similar achievement. “While I was a student at Miami University of Ohio I spent a summer working at the Lima Biggby Coffee location and fell in love with the business; everything from the customers to the employees to the Coffee.”
“There are already Biggby fanatics in the area and I’m looking forward to continuing my involvement with the community and making Biggby bigger than ever before,” Rector said. He wants to make sure that every customer feels as welcome as he does when he walks into a Biggby: “It's a very inviting, warm and exciting company to be a part of, and I look forward to being a valued community Coffee shop.”
After Biggby was recently voted as one of the Top 50 Franchises in America for “Franchisee satisfaction,” Rector would like spread the love of Biggby Coffee, and grow in a community that he has come to call his own.
The store will feature free Wi-Fi and the full Biggby Coffee menu of gourmet Coffee, tea and, frozen drinks. The store hours will be Monday- Friday 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
About Biggby Coffee®
East Lansing, Mich.-based Biggby® Coffee opened a single store in March of 1995 based on the founding principle that Coffee-lovers and the Coffee-curious alike would benefit from a less pretentious approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. Biggby Coffee introduced connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, and barista staff surprised guests with simple gestures like free kazoos and bouncy balls for no other reason than to brighten their day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today Biggby Coffee has 169 cafes open or under contract across six states including: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas.
