Dana Point AIM Mail Center Makes Late Run to Main Post Office on Tax Day

Local Business Owner Helps Community Go Stress-Free by Making the Extra Trip across Town

April 15, 2013 // Franchising.com // If it wasn’t for the AIM Mail Center in the Ocean Ranch Village Shopping Center, those in Dana Point who couldn’t make it to the local post office by 5:30 p.m. on Tax Day, Monday April 15th, 2013 would have to drive to the U.S. Post Office on Fairview Road in Costa Mesa to mail their taxes.

Luckily, store owner Mike Lee is willing to do the legwork again this year. Mike first made the extra run 8 years ago and decided to offer the convenience annually. He will transport all mail that is brought into his store before 10 p.m. to the main post office in Costa Mesa.

“I thought this would be a great way to save a lot of people the stress and time of driving 30 minutes up to Costa Mesa to meet the deadline,” said Lee “Over the past eight years, I’ve had people drive as far as 20 miles so they could get their last minute tax mailing done.”

Lee’s AIM Mail Center, located at 32565 Golden Lantern St on the corner of Golden Lantern & Camino Del Avion, is a convenient one-stop business service center. His store not only offers U.S. Postal Services, but also shipping through UPS and FedEx, passport photos, mailbox rentals, packaging supplies, photocopying, notary and a variety of other office services. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
