Hilton Worldwide Signs Management Agreement for DoubleTree by Hilton Development in Toluca, Mexico

Brand’s Fifth Hotel in Mexico to Debut in Growing Economic Center

April 16, 2013 // Franchising.com // MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Worldwide announced that it has signed a management agreement with YAPAR SA de CV for a 130-room DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Toluca, Mexico. Upon completion of a major renovation and the addition of a new 50 room tower, the Hotel Campanario is expected to reopen as DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca in late 2014.

Located in the industrial center of Toluca just 20 minutes from the international airport and nearby attractions, the 8-story DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca will feature 130 guest rooms, including 80 renovated rooms and 50 new rooms that will form part of the tower addition. This upscale, full-service hotel will welcome guests to a traditional hacienda-style design - complete with courtyards and open public spaces - with all the upgraded amenities and features of a contemporary DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

The renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca's 130 guest rooms and suites will feature the Sweet Dreams® by DoubleTree Sleep Experience, refreshing Crabtree & Evelyn Citron® bath and body products, 42-inch HDTV flat screen television, in-room tea and coffee making service, spacious work desks with data ports, MP3-compatible clock radios, and wireless high-speed internet access.

Visitors will also enjoy two restaurants, a bar and a café, as well as recreational facilities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor swimming pool and retail shops. For events and meetings, the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Toluca will provide more than 6,500 square feet of flexible function space including a complimentary, 24-hour business center, and two new junior ballrooms as part of the new tower.
