Roosters Men's Grooming Center Celebrates Grand Opening in Powell

Store Raises $400 for American Red Cross

POWELL, OH - (Marketwired - Apr 29, 2013) - More than 100 people attended the grand opening celebration of Roosters Men's Grooming Center (MGC) in Powell. Located at 9733 Sawmill Parkway, Suite F, in the Shoppes at Liberty Crossing, the store is the first of this fast growing national franchise to open in the Columbus area. Roosters MGC offers men and boys the camaraderie and feeling of an old fashioned barbershop in combination with personalized grooming services.

"We've received a tremendous response from representatives of The Greater Powell Area Chamber of Commerce, our neighbors and friends, and the community-at-large," said Sumeet Pahouja. He and his wife Monica are owners of the new store which includes a highly skilled team of barbers and stylists.

The Pahoujas, who are longtime residents of Powell, have also made a strong commitment to give back to the community. All the store's proceeds from opening day, totaling $400, were donated to the American Red Cross. Representatives from the local Red Cross were on hand during Roosters' celebration to hand out materials regarding disaster preparedness, blood drives, service to armed forces, and other health and safety programs.

"We are proud to partner with our local Red Cross, which does so much good to help people in their time of need," said Monica Pahouja.

Visitors to Roosters' grand opening celebration were also invited to relax in the store's oversized leather barber chairs in five semi-private barber stations and treated to demonstrations of the store's custom services. These include precision haircuts and shaves with hot steam towels, deep cleansing facial massages, moisturizing lotions and top-of-the-line hair and skin care products for men.

Roosters MGC in Powell is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. To schedule an appointment or purchase a gift card, call 614-336-3666. Walk-ins are always welcome.
