Window Genie of Northeast Atlanta Gives Back to the Community

Bill Kavanaugh and his team at Window Genie of NE Atlanta give back to the community, will donate time and services to pressure wash the concrete and playground at Sheltering Arms Daycare.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) May 08, 2013 - Window Genie is the nationally ranked franchise of home services known to, “Clean Windows and a Whole Lot More!” A whole lot more includes window tinting, pressure washing, gutter clean-out and giving back to the community. Window Genie's company-wide give back program, Windows 4 Wishes encourages all franchise owners to give back and stay active in their local communities. Window Genie of NE Atlanta will give back by performing free cleaning services at the Sheltering Arms Daycare in preparation for the Keller Williams Realty day of giving, RED Day.

Keller Williams' website defines RED Day as: "RED Day (Renew, Energize and Donate) is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving our local communities. Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve."

This year Keller Williams chose Sheltering Arms Daycare in Atlanta to benefit for their community project. They aim to raise food and shoes for the children who attend Sheltering Arms. As described on their website: "Sheltering Arms is Georgia's oldest nonprofit early childhood education program, and one of its most respected. Our mission is to serve working families with high quality, affordable child care and education and comprehensive support services, as well as to provide professional development for early childhood educators and community outreach. Founded by Atlanta volunteers in 1888, Sheltering Arms now annually serves more than 3,600 children, ages six weeks to five years old, and their families, in 16 centers in 6 metro Atlanta counties."

During a meeting with Affiliate Partners of Keller Williams, Bill Kavanaugh of Window Genie NE Atlanta was asked to help clean up the school and playground prior to the event which is being held on Thursday May 9th. The event will be set up as a small carnival type day for the kids with booths, jumping blowups and other activities. Bill Kavanaugh said, "I offered to do the pressure washing of all the exterior concrete and playground equipment, to help them get ready for this event. I always feel that children always need an opportunity to succeed. If this daycare, which has 98% of the kids on some government assisted program to attend, can give these children an opportunity, I’m all in."
