New Orleans Domino's Pizza Raises $11,500 Toward United Way of Southeast Louisiana Area and Rebuilding Together New Orleans

'Welcome Home Party' for house rebuild in Hollygrove to take place May 16

NEW ORLEANS, May 15, 2013 // PRNewswire // - New Orleans Domino's Pizza has continued its proud partnership with the United Way of Southeast Louisiana Area and, in conjunction with Rebuild Together, has raised $11,500 toward the rebuild of a home in the Hollygrove neighborhood. Domino's will help host a Welcome Home Party this Thursday, May 16, for the family who was forced to evacuate following Hurricane Katrina.

"We are excited to partner with the United Way of Southeast Louisiana Area to raise funds to help those who still suffer from the effects of Hurricane Katrina," said Glenn Mueller , RPM Pizza president and Domino's Pizza New Orleans franchise owner. "We hope our entire community will come out to the celebration on May 16, as we welcome these wonderful people back to their home."

New Orleans Domino's Pizza, locally owned and operated by RPM Pizza, raised the money through generous contributions from customers via in-store fundraising efforts, and also had several team members spend the day volunteering toward the house build last November.

"RPM Pizza is so proud to be a part of this community, as we have as a local business for the past 32 years," said Mueller. "We will continue to do whatever we can to help get families in the communities that we are a part of get back on their feet, and – in the case of many receiving support from the United Way and Rebuilding Together – return home where they belong."
