Newest Zinga Frozen Yogurt Opens in Palm City, Florida

Treasure Coast Family Owner Operators Open "World’s Best Frozen Yogurt" Store

Palm City, FL (PRWEB) May 21, 2013 - The newest Zinga Frozen Yogurt store has opened in Palm City, Fla., at 1385 SW Martin Highway.

The franchise is family owned and operated. Ray Burgos is co-owner along with Glenn Burgos and Glenn Colucci. Elaine Squadrito is regional manager. Elaine has lived on the Treasure Coast for more than 10 years and is a member of the Palm City Chamber of Commerce.

The newest Zinga store neighbors in Palm City are the Publix store and U.S. Post Office. Store hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Phone: (772) 287-2662.

“We are very confident that we made a great choice in bringing a Zinga Frozen Yogurt franchise to Palm City,” Squadrito said. “Even before we opened we donated $450.00 to Martin County High School for the Tigers' team banner. We plan on hosting many fund-raisers to help our local community.”

Zinga will offer gluten-free flavors, sugar-free and fat-free flavors, as well as many delicious low-fat choices. Some of the popular frozen yogurt flavors available: Banana-rama, Peach Medley, Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Bun, Sea-salt Caramel Pretzel, Old Fashioned Peanut Butter, Blueberry Tart, Valencia Orange Sorbet, French Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, Strawberry and many more. Zinga Frozen Yogurt is self-serve and is sold by the ounce.

“Every month we will be adding a new flavor, and we want our customers to vote. The flavor with the most votes will be added,” said Squadrito. “We really want our customers to have a say in our offerings.”

According to Squadrito, there will be a unique variety of toppings, such as Cookie Dough, Gummies, Butter Fingers, an assortment of Boba Fruit Pearls and many more. In addition to many healthy choice toppings such as fresh-cut fruit and nuts, the new store will offer freshly made “hot bottoms” baked on-site throughout the day. Some of the bottoms include: Gluten-Free Cake, Waffle Bowls, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Fun-fetti Cake.

Zinga Frozen Yogurt customers can earn points through a loyalty program with points redeemed for 10 oz. of free frozen yogurt.

Zinga reminded consumers during National Nutrition Month in March that Zinga’s basic offerings of frozen yogurt, fresh fruit and nuts can help promote weight loss, as suggested by a 2011 Harvard study.

All of Zinga’s yogurt flavors meet the National Yogurt Association’s criteria for “live and active culture yogurt.”
