College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving of West Palm Beach Eyes Community-Focused Role Under New GM

College Hunks Hauling Junk and College Hunks Moving of West Palm Beach, FL has big plans to overhaul their operations and increase their role in the community under the location’s new general manager, Ignacio Torano.

West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 27, 2013 - Torano, who has previously sat on the board of such non-profit organizations as Tampa-based “Paint Your Heart Out” and also volunteered for four years as a “Big Brother” mentor, is no stranger to the College Hunks brand.

According to Torano, “I’ve been with the company since 2010. I started out hauling junk on the trucks and answering phones, and I worked my way up to Manager of the company’s flagship location in Tampa. From there, I had the opportunity to help build one of our newer franchises in Dallas, where I also served as an ambassador for the city’s Young Professionals group in the Chamber of Commerce. Now, I’m excited for this chance to help grow the West Palm outfit alongside my right-hand man Paul Zanner and help my new team do some great things for this community.”

Apart from the company’s junk-removal, donation delivery, moving, and labor services, Torano believes there are a number of ways College Hunks can lend a helping hand in the local neighborhoods.

Says Torano, “There’s a lot of good to be done here and it’s genuinely exciting. My motto is ‘teamwork makes the dream work,’ and I know that by partnering with the right organizations, we can have a huge impact in the lives of a lot of West Palm residents. It starts with our eco-friendly pay services, but the way we can really make a difference is by volunteering our time and muscle to help some great, charitable causes.”

Already, Torano has proven the sincerity of his commitment to West Palm’s charities, having increased the amount of hauled items the franchise donates to the local Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity from 60% to 90% in his short time as the franchise’s General Manager.

College Hunks of West Palm Owner Barry Reiss buys into Torano’s vision wholeheartedly, saying, “Ignacio is a great addition to our team. Everyone in the company calls him the ‘Director of Smiles’ because he has the kind of positive attitude that’s contagious. With his wealth of experience, I know he’s going to bring about some remarkable changes around here... for all of us.”
