The announcement follows the success of Doc Popcorn’s first PopCart™ unit at the Lake Compounce Amusement Park, a Palace Entertainment venue located in Bristol, Conn.

The first of the new locations opened on May 15, 2013 in the renowned Kennywood Amusement Park near Pittsburgh, Penn. and a second unit opened over Memorial Day Weekend at the Raging Waters Amusement Park in San Jose, Calif. This move is a part of Doc Popcorn’s strategic growth plan to target non-traditional real estate sites, to continue extending the brand beyond its mall-based roots.
