Dunkin’ Donuts Restaurants in Oklahoma City and Dallas Collect Guest Donations Supporting American Red Cross Disaster Relief Efforts

Dunkin' Brands Donates $10,000 to Red Cross to Aid Those Affected by Recent Disasters

May 30, 2013 // Franchising.com // CANTON, MA – Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, today announced starting May 28 through June 28 participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Oklahoma City and Dallas will collect donations from guests via in-store canisters to support American Red Cross disaster relief like the tornadoes in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as countless crises at home and across the country.

In addition to the month-long collection program,Dunkin’ Brands will make a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help people affected by recent disasters like the Oklahoma tornadoes.

“Our Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins franchisees, employees and restaurant crew members want to help provide assistance to those who have suffered the devastating impact of the tornadoes that struck Oklahoma,” said Karen Raskopf, Chief Communications Officer at Dunkin’ Brands. “Our hope is that our donation to the American Red Cross, coupled with the donations from our guests, will help the survivors and their families during this difficult time."

In addition to donating to the American Red Cross relief efforts through neighborhood Dunkin’Donuts restaurants, the public can contribute by visiting http://www.redcross.org/charitable-donations or donate $10 by texting the word REDCROSS to 90999.
