Jazzercise Fitness Fiesta Convention Dances into the Desert
La Quinta Resort & Club To Host Fitness Getaway June 28-29
CARLSBAD, Calif. - (May 28, 2013) – Jazzercise, the world’s leading dance fitness program, will return to the desert June 28-29 for the Fitness Fiesta Jazzercise Convention featuring a live taping of new Jazzercise choreography, shopping expo, mega group fitness classes and the exclusive filming of the new Dance HiiT DVD.
Dance HiiT by Jazzercise is a high intensity interval training workout led by Jazzercise President Shanna Missett Nelson. The home workout DVD will be filmed live on location and event attendees have opportunity to star on the DVD.
“Nothing compares to the energy of a live Jazzercise event so we decided to bring this energy to our customers at home, by filming the Dance HiiT DVD live on location in La Quinta, Calif.,” said Jazzercise President Shanna Missett Nelson. “Now our customers can feel like they are part of the dance party right in their living room.”
More than 900 fitness enthusiasts from all over the world will converge at the La Quinta Resort & Club for this fitness getaway. Other highlights include a live taping of new Jazzercise routines choreographed and led by Jazzercise Founder & CEO, Judi Sheppard Missett on Friday, June 28 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. The routines are subsequently sent to 7,800 Jazzercise instructors around the world.
On Saturday, June 29, Fitness Fiesta will present four consecutive large Jazzercise group fitness classes featuring dynamic themes – from “Hot Cha Cha” to “Combo Caliente” and “Sassy Sculpt and Stretch” from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and culminate with the live filming of the Dance HiiT DVD at 7 p.m.
The two-day fitness party will be led by Judi Sheppard Missett; Jazzercise President Shanna Missett Nelson, professional choreographer Tim Roberts and many other certified Jazzercise instructors and fitness professionals.
