RE/MAX Ultimate Professionals to Add Plainfield Office; Broker/Owner Views Metro Chicago Real Estate Market as Ripe for Expansion

RE/MAX Broker/Owner Kathy McCauley-Dames will open her newest RE/MAX Ultimate Professionals brokerage in Plainfield, Ill., this autumn.

Chicago, IL, June 05, 2013 - (PR.com) - RE/MAX Broker/Owner Kathy McCauley-Dames will bring three decades of experience to the metropolitan Chicago real estate market of Plainfield, Ill., when she opens her newest RE/MAX Ultimate Professionals brokerage there this autumn. It will be the second RE/MAX office she has established in the past year. Her first office opened in Shorewood, Ill., last spring. It is located at 576 Brook Forest Ave., and now is staffed by 16 brokers.

Although still in the process of finalizing the location for her new Plainfield office, McCauley-Dames plans for it to be in the central portion of the village, conveniently serving the buyers and sellers of Will County as the residential real estate market there continues to soar. The strong pace of business in Will County convinced her that the time was right to expand her operation. In April, Will County home sales rose 8 percent and the median sales price climbed 10 percent compared to the same time period last year.

“My numbers for our Shorewood office are almost as good as some offices that have 50 agents. We’re doing phenomenally well,” McCauley-Dames said. “The office is bustling every day with brokers and their clients who are taking advantage of the strong housing market. Plainfield, with its excellent reputation as a residential community, seemed like a natural choice for an expansion.”

McCauley-Dames is fully committed to the success of her new office and agents. With Will County on the upswing, her plans for growth aren’t limited to the new Plainfield office. She plans to enlarge her roster of brokers to better serve the community, both in Shorewood and now in Plainfield, where she wants to quickly put in place a staff of 8 to10 brokers.

She will also continue to host classes offered by the Illinois Academy of Real Estate for those interested in earning a real estate broker’s license. So whether someone is interested in becoming a real estate broker or already is part of the RE/MAX Ultimate Professionals brokerage team, McCauley-Dames remains readily available to those who seek her mentorship.
