Sports Image® Welcomes New Franchise in Texas
June 07, 2013 // Franchising.com // Dayton, OH – Sports Image®, a leader in the high school and youth sports marketing industry, has just awarded another Texas Sports Marketing Franchise to Mr. Chuck McElroy and Mr. Wally Spence in the Houston area. Chuck and Wally join Mr. Brad Kerley (Dallas) as the 2nd Territory opening in the Lone Star State. Mr. McElroy is also the first ex-professional athlete that has joined the Sports Image® Franchise Team having pitched for 13+ seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cubs, Red, Astros among others. Sports Image® now has “local ownership” in 13 different states in just its first three years of franchising to help schools and organizations.
“After being in the corporate world for 28 years, I was looking for way out. I met Chuck about 4 years ago after his MLB career and we both had a dream to help local kids in athletics,” stated Mr. Spence. “We found Sports Image® and their ideals lined up perfectly with our goals and we decided to purchase a franchise and make a difference in our backyard.”
“Since my retirement from Major League Baseball, I have continued to be involved in baseball and other youth sports.
