Industry leader, Watch It!, Opens its 25th Store at Calgary International Airport

June 10, 2013 // Franchising.com // Calgary AB – Recognized as one of Canada’s leading boutique retailers, Watch It! is proud to announce a new store opening at the Calgary International Airport. Watch It! has flourished into one of the most well-recognized boutique retailers in the Canadian retail industry. With over 13.6 million passengers travelling through the airport in 2012, YYC has become the leading passenger hub in Alberta and is currently undergoing a major facelift.

The new location will be an open concept store, a first in Watch It!’s 14 year history.

“Our Calgary International Airport location will serve as a Watch It! first, not only for the open concept layout, but also as a location specifically catering to travelers,” says Wes Heck, owner of Watch It! YYC. “The airport is currently undergoing a major renovation that will allow even more passengers from around the world to travel through this vital hub. We’re excited to be a part of this revitalization,” adds Tracey Heck, co-owner.

The ultimate destination for the latest in watches, sunglasses and accessories, Watch It! was founded in 1999 and is deeply rooted in Calgary’s retail market. The Watch It! YYC location will be carrying a unique mix of top brands including fashion favourites such as Fossil, Diesel and Vestal; rugged travel necessities from Timex and Casio, and vacation-ready sunglasses from Oakley and Ray Ban.

The new Watch It! YYC location is located in Banff Hall on the Departures level.
