Massage Envy Las Vegas Names Heather Mattison Regional Therapist of the Year

Therapist honored for dedication, commitment, devotion to wellness.

Las Vegas, NV - June 13, 2013 - (PR.com) - Massage Envy, the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians in the United States, is pleased to announce that Heather Mattison has been named Massage Envy’s Regional Therapist of the Year for the Las Vegas/ Henderson Region. The award was presented at Massage Envy’s annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona on April 27, 2013.

Only 53 therapists are chosen for this award from more than 21,000 therapists in Massage Envy’s nationwide network. Mattison’s honor included airfare and accommodations at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge in Phoenix, a $300 stipend, and continuing education. She will also receive recognition in the trade publications Massage Magazine and Massage and Bodywork.

Mattison has been a massage therapist at the Galleria Massage Envy Spa in Henderson for more than two years. The single mother of two is a dedicated, hard-working employee who always finds time to represent Massage Envy in their local and national charitable affiliations, providing chair massages for events such as Healing Hands for Arthritis, the Las Vegas Marathon, The Great Santa Run, events with the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department, and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. “We are incredibly proud of Heather, and she is so deserving of this honor,” said Galleria clinic owner Marissa Hawkins. “I went back and looked over her clients’ testimonials and saw that they all had a common thread.
