EXIT Realty Metro Hosting Red Cross Bus

Minneapolis, Minnesota (Grassroots Newswire) June 18, 2013 - EXIT Realty Metro is hosting the Red Cross Bloodmobile at their office Saturday, June 22nd from 9 AM to 2 PM. The office is located just South of the Walker Art Center just off Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis.

"It is becoming more and more difficult to maintain a stable and secure blood supply", stated Donor Recruitment Representative of the American Red Cross, David Kelley. "The need for blood is rising with advances in technology and the aging of the baby boom population, but the number of individuals who donate is decreasing", Kelley concluded. Statistics show summer is one of the most important times for individuals to donate blood, the need is large and many of the regular donors are vacationing or traveling. As the Red Cross Slogan states, "The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Give Blood."

Donation hours are Saturday from 9AM to 2PM with appointment reservations taken at www.redcrossblood.org use sponsor code 7990 when making your reservation. Donation appointments can also be made by calling 1-800-red-cross to schedule an appointment.
