Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers Opening in Lone Tree, Colorado, on Monday, July 1st

Handcrafted pizza, local craft beers, 70s colors and midcentury modern architecture are just a few reasons to stop into Mellow.

June 26, 2013 // Franchising.com // LONE TREE, CO. - Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is proud to announce the newest opening in Lone Tree, Colorado, on Monday, July 1st, at 9271 Park Meadows Drive, at the intersection with Yosemite Street.

“After looking all over the state of Colorado for almost a year, we were lucky enough to find a prime spot in Lone Tree,” states Shane Purcel, owner of Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers. “The community excitement that we have seen through social media and web inquiries has been overwhelmingly gratifying, just another reason we are thrilled to bring Mellow to town.”

The menu features a variety of handcrafted pizzas, hoagies, salads, calzones and appetizers, dishes that use only the highest quality ingredients. Options for vegetarians, vegans and kids are available, along with gluten free options.

With the combination of 70s colors, large murals and midcentury modern architecture, this Mellow is truly a one of a kind experience.

Below are a few highlights from the Mellow in Lone Tree:

• Pizza Bandito, a psychedelic mascot, greets visitors as they enter the Mellow.
• Check out the 9 foot Mel, Mellow’s mascot, which is made from repurposed mechanical parts.
• Enjoy vintage rock posters featuring old school jam bands, a nostalgic nod to the 70s inspired theme throughout the store.
• Colorfully restored vintage gliders provide seating along the entrance.
• Enjoy the cosmic dream world mural covering 600 square feet of wall space, inhabited by spirit animals and mesmerized musicians.

To complement the dining experience, there is a full service indoor/outdoor bar with a great variety of craft beers, wine and cocktail options. Adventurous guests can join the Mellow Mushroom Beer Club in order to taste their way through endless amounts of draft and bottle selections and receive exciting members only rewards along the way. This Mellow also features a 1,500 square feet, enclosed, heated and cooled patio with stunning mountain views and a fire pit.
