June 28, 2013 // Franchising.com // Jackson, Miss. – Jackson-area residents have another option for purchasing used cars now that a new J.D. Byrider location is open at 5719 I-55 N. Frontage Road. Now in his 20th year serving the metro-Jackson area, the new location becomes the second dealership for franchisee Barry Biggers and the second franchise in Mississippi.
“After opening our first J.D. Byrider dealership in 1994 in Pearl, we’ve seen a growing need to provide customers who have less-than-perfect credit with good cars, affordable financing and superior customer service all in one place,” said Biggers. “This promise now expands to our new north Jackson dealership, and we look forward to being a bigger part of this community.”
The 10,092 square-foot location will offer used car sales, seven service bays, affordable pricing on parts and labor, a customer service center and J.D. Byrider’s industry-leading financing options. All qualifying customers will also receive a free 24-month/24,000-mile warranty. At full capacity, the dealership will create approximately 20 to 25 new jobs.
In addition to the new Jackson location, J.D. Byrider opened new locations in Barboursville, W. Va., Rockford, Ill., Bradenton, Fla., and Omaha, Neb., this year. Last year, J.D. Byrider had its biggest year for growth, opening 14 new dealerships across the United States. With these new stores, J.D. Byrider now has 149 locations in 29 states, with plans for continued growth in 2013.
