ColorTyme Rent-to-Own Continues Growth Strategy with Opening of Two New Locations

July 09, 2013 // Franchising.com // PLANO, Texas – ColorTyme, Inc., the nation’s first franchisor of independently owned-and-operated rent-to-own stores, continued its expansion plans with the announcement of two new locations opening on July 1. ColorTyme entered the new markets of Muscle Shoals, Ala. and West Monroe, La. with the opening of its newest stores.

ColorTyme Muscle Shoals, located at 1208 Woodward Ave., is owned by new franchisees Walter Billups and partners of BGB, LLC. The West Monroe store is the second location by former independent rent-to-own dealer Brad Warden of Sanders South Company, Inc., and is located at 107 Bridge St.

“As a company, we are continuously looking to grow and expand, and opening these two new locations on the same day is a testament to our success in this area,” said ColorTyme VP of Franchising Michael Landry. “We are excited to see these two new franchising groups open their doors and begin servicing their local communities.”

ColorTyme now has a presence in six Louisiana locations and four Alabama locations with the additions of the new stores, and has tallied seven new store openings in 2013 to bring the total number of ColorTyme units to 197 throughout the United States.

Like all ColorTyme stores, the new locations will offer customers name-brand products with a variety of convenient payment plans without a credit check. The owners and staff of both stores intend to give residents a unique rental experience by creating a hometown atmosphere with superior customer service.
