Daytona Beach Real Estate Heats Up

In Volusia County, 813 existing homes were sold in May. This is an increase from 681 homes sold the same month a May 2012.

Daytona Beach Shores, FL - July 11, 2013 - (PR.com) - (OwnFloridaToday.com) “Daytona Beach real estate sales have increased 19% during the month of May” says veteran Realtor Mike Linton of RE/MAX Signature and leader of The Mike Linton Team in Daytona Beach Shores, FL.

In Volusia County, 813 existing homes were sold in May. This is an increase from 681 homes sold the same month a May 2012. These are statistics released recently by the Florida Realtors association, which does not track sales of newly constructed homes.

This is the most homes sold in a single month since the financial crisis. According to the Daytona Beach News Journal, “The median price of the homes sold in Volusia last month (MAY) rose 3.4 percent to $121,000, compared with $117,000 in May 2012.”
