Wyndham Rewards Loyalty Program Offers Incentives for Travel This Season

Members Can Earn Double Points and More Attainable Rewards for Their Travels

PARSIPPANY, NJ - (Marketwired - Jul 30, 2013) - Wyndham Rewards®, Wyndham Hotel Group's free-to-join guest loyalty program and the world's largest hotel loyalty program with nearly 7,000 participating hotels, has introduced new measures to help make rewards more tangible and achievable for travelers regardless of how often or where they travel.

Double Incentives for Summer Travel

Whether traveling for the day, for business or for a family vacation, guests who are Wyndham Rewards members can earn double Wyndham Rewards points when they complete two or more qualifying stays at participating Wyndham Hotel Group properties this summer.

From now until Sept. 13, 2013, Wyndham Rewards members who register for the promotion online at www.wyndhamrewards.com/doblepuntos or www.wyndhamrewards.com/duplopontos and complete two qualifying stays at any of the nearly 7,000 participating Wyndham Hotel Group locations around the world will receive double the rewards points.

Introducing New Gold Tier Status

This year, Wyndham Rewards added valuable program incentives to cater to the needs of every kind of traveler, including the introduction of a new Gold Status tier to reward members who stay more frequently. Members will now earn a free night after every 20 qualified nights at a Wyndham Hotel Group participating property in a calendar year. Members who earn these free nights as a result of their Gold Status will continue to earn points that can be used to redeem for rewards such as merchandise, gift cards and more. The Gold Status benefits are provided to members for qualifying stays in the more than 50 countries offering the Wyndham Rewards program.

Fewer Points Needed to Achieve Rewards

Wyndham Rewards has also modified its reward tier levels to make free nights more attainable. Now, members need only 5,500 points, rather than the previously needed 6,000 points, to earn a free night at select Wyndham Hotel Group properties.
