Childrens Lighthouse Learning Center Amplifies Its Aggressive National Franchise Growth Strategy

Enhanced expansion to more than double the U.S. footprint of the nation’s premier educational childcare company.

July 31, 2013 // Franchising.com // FORT WORTH, Texas – Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers announced today an extensive U.S. growth plan – a strategy that will position the educational childcare company to engrain itself for the long-term with communities in all corners of the country. Plans include adding new schools in key markets such as Kansas City, Orlando and Raleigh that will grow the company’s footprint by nearly 70 percent.

“We are growing into new communities with talented franchise owners and investors who share our passion for high quality educational childcare,” said Mike Brown, CEO of Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers and co-founder of the business with his brother Patrick. “We couldn’t be happier about the momentum behind our brand.”

Recent signings in Austin, Raleigh and Southern California exemplify Childrens Lighthouse’s expansion plans into new markets. Additionally, 33 new Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers are in development and/or construction, preparing to join the 34 that are already operating. Up to six new schools will open in the next six months.

The combination of a comprehensive curriculum for young children and nurturing care puts Childrens Lighthouse at the head of its class. Announced today, the expansion strategy calls for the development of more than 100 new learning centers nationwide during the next five years, targeting communities where families put a premium on childcare that offers parents peace of mind.

“The demand for educational childcare is at an all time high. Now more than ever parents are making early childhood development a high priority,” said Stephen Dixon, vice president of franchise development for Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers. “There is not another educational childcare concept that exceeds expectations like we do every time you walk in the door…no matter if you are an owner, family or student.”

Childrens Lighthouse has embedded a highly respected curriculum into its programming. Along with the educational component, their curriculum incorporates technology-enhance learning to keep kids engaged at all times. Plus, Childrens Lighthouse Learning Centers give parents peace of mind with online video links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.
