DineEquity, Inc. Announces Third Quarter 2013 Dividend

Board Declares a Third Quarter 2013 Dividend of $0.75 Per Share of Common Stock

GLENDALE, Calif. - August 2, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE: DIN), the parent company of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar® and IHOP® restaurants, today announced that its Board of Directors declared a third quarter cash dividend of $0.75 per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable on September 27, 2013 to the Company’s stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 10, 2013.

“The cash dividend is an important component of our capital allocation strategy. With the third quarter dividend, we will have returned over $57 million to our stockholders this year through the combination of dividends and share repurchases, affirming our commitment to create stockholder value,” said Julia A.
