Zippy Shell Moving and Storage Announces Continuation of Rapid Expansion With Sale of Wilmington, NC

This sale marks a continuation of rapid expansion throughout the United States with no signs of slowing. Zippy Shell of Wilmington will be the third location to open in North Carolina and is scheduled to launch in October of this year under the ownership Patrick and Erin Alderson.

Patrick and Erin began their Zippy Shell(sm) journey not as potential investors, but as customers. Deciding to move to New York City from Raleigh, NC, Patrick contacted the local Zippy Shell location in Raleigh for storage services, needing to considerably downsize their North Carolina home for their move to Manhattan.

Immediately impressed with the seamlessness and the quality of customer service, they began researching further into the Zippy Shell concept. The couple had been searching for a franchise opportunity, but never considered mobile moving and storage until Zippy Shell was delivered to their doorstep. After visiting with the corporate office in Washington, DC, the Alderson’s decided to cut their stay in New York short, moving back to North Carolina to open their own Zippy Shell location.
