Franchisee Jose Manuel Villanueva Opens Eighteenth Johnny Rockets in Mexico

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - Aug. 15, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Johnny Rockets, the international restaurant chain offering a classic American experience, has opened its third restaurant in the Guadalajara metropolitan area, inside La Gourmeteria. The new three-story La Gourmeteria center is designed for both business and pleasure, now featuring an Encore Hotel and variety of restaurant options. By October, a Blockbuster Cinema, Vivo family fitness club and additional restaurant concepts are expected to open, creating a truly diverse and lifestyle-focused destination location.

This is the eighteenth Johnny Rockets restaurant in Mexico and the third franchise for Jose Manuel Villanueva, who is a partner in two other Central Mexico Johnny Rockets locations in Zapopan, Plaza La Rue and Plaza Ciudadela.

"When we first opened, on August 6th, people queued up overnight to be one of the first fifty Guests to receive free hamburgers for a year," said franchise owner Villanueva. The new 1722 square-foot Johnny Rockets restaurant employs 30 local residents and is located in the Tlajomulco de Zuniga center at Lopez Mateos No. 1710- Local PB-4B.
