Massage Envy to Celebrate 3rd Annual Healing Hands for Arthritis Event

Clinics to donate $10 to the Arthritis Foundation for every Massage and facial on September 18

ARLINGTON, Va. - August 19, 2013 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - All 32 Massage Envy locations in the Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia region will donate $10 for every one-hour massage and facial session as part of a one day Healing Hands for Arthritis event. Massage Envy clinics will partner with the Arthritis Foundation to host Healing Hands for Arthritis on September 18.

This will mark the third year that Massage Envy is partnering with the Arthritis Foundation for the Healing Hands event. Each clinic has set a goal to raise $1,111.11 as part of the Massage Envy national effort to raise one million for the Foundation. Last year, these local clinics raised over $25,000 for the Foundation as part of the event and since the inception of the partnership, the region has raised over $133,000 for the cause.

In addition to Massage Envy making contributions on September 18, Massage Envy’s exclusive skin care partner, Murad®, as well as BioFreeze and Wyndmere, will each donate 10% of all product sales at Massage Envy Spa locations.
