LaMar’s Donuts Supports September’s World Alzheimer’s Month

August 21, 2013 // Franchising.com // DENVER – LaMar’s Donuts has teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado for World Alzheimer’s Month, beginning Sept. 1, 2013. Customers can support the cause by going purple, the color of the Alzheimer’s movement. For the entire month, local LaMar’s Donut stores will offer purple donuts, with a percentage of the sales going directly to support free services offered by the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado to families and to research to end Alzheimer’s.

“LaMar’s Donuts is proud to support this worthy cause during September’s World Alzheimer’s Month. This promotion is a demonstration of the company’s commitment to our friends, family, communities and the Alzheimer’s Association,” says Carolyn Tai, LaMar’s Donuts spokesperson. “We are honored to lend our support to their vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.”

Purple donuts are available at all Colorado locations and can be pre-ordered by calling any Colorado location or online at www.lamars.com. For more information about World Alzheimer’s Month go to alz.org.
