Ann Hollins Named Chief Human Resources Officer of Weight Watchers

NEW YORK - Aug. 23, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Weight Watchers International, Inc. (NYSE: WTW) today announced that Ann Hollins has been named Chief Human Resources Officer. Hollins will report to President and CEO Jim Chambers and will serve as a member of the Weight Watchers Executive Committee. She replaces Meredith Shepherd, who left the Company in May after 11 years with the Company.

"As a seasoned HR leader with a deep background in strategy, Ann brings the right combination of strategic business partner mindset, broad HR experience and demonstrated team-building skills," said Chambers. "As we transform our organization to meet the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities before us, Ann's capabilities in talent planning and organizational development will be invaluable. She will lead our efforts to re-shape our culture to one of empowered decision-making, action and accountability across all levels."

Hollins brings to Weight Watchers more than 20 years of experience across a broad range of industries, including retail, energy, beverage and manufacturing. Most recently, she spent seven years at Hess Corporation, a leading global energy company, where she held leadership positions in multiple Human Resources functional areas, including her most recent role as Vice President, Global Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Before assuming that position, she was the Vice President, Global Chief Learning and Development Officer and Vice President, Human Resources for the Marketing and Refining division. Prior to Hess, Hollins held senior roles at Tyco International, D&B Corporation and PepsiCo.
