Chem-Dry Partners with Breast Cancer Foundation on National Campaign

Global Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Leader's 'Cleaning for the Cause' Program Raises Funds, Awareness for Breast Cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sept. 3, 2013 // PRNewswire // - Chem-Dry, the world's largest carpet and upholstery cleaning service, is continuing its partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) for the third consecutive year. Through its Cleaning for the Cause program, Chem-Dry has raised more than $100,000 for NBCF over the past two years and plans to significantly grow that number this year.

Chem-Dry chose to partner with NBCF because breast cancer affects so many lives and is such a personal cause for many of its franchise owners and customers, who are mostly women.

Each can purchased generates an automatic $1 donation to NBCF. Homeowners can also support the cause by scheduling a professional cleaning with a local participating Chem-Dry franchise, which can be found by visiting the website's zip code locator and selecting a Chem-Dry with an accompanying pink ribbon icon. Additionally, Chem-Dry owners support the cause through other activities including cleaning the homes of breast cancer survivors for free and participating in local breast cancer awareness events.
