Camp Bow Wow Announces National Call to Entry for the 4th Annual National Pet Calendar Contest

Nation's Largest Pet Care Franchise Invites Owners to Submit Photos of Furry Friends Destined for Stardom

NEW YORK, NY - September 06, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ - Camp Bow Wow , the nation's largest pet care franchise and an Inc 5000 company, in conjunction with its premier in-home pet care component, Home Buddies, has launched a 2014 National Calendar Photo Contest, searching for America's most photogenic pets in the country. The contest began on September 4th, 2013 and will end at 11:59 PM EDT on September 30th, 2013. During this time, entries from pet-owners of all types of animals will be accepted via Camp Bow Wow's Facebook page.

There will be 51 winners, including a Grand Prize Winner, who will win a free year of services (valued at $3,000), which will include either dog day care and boarding services or in-home pet care by Camp Bow Wow, along with the coveted spot on the 2014 calendar cover. All remaining 50 winners will have their irresistible mugs featured in the 2014 Camp Bow Wow Calendar and will be chosen based on votes from fellow Facebook fans.

To enter the contest, participants can click on the link within Camp Bow Wow's Facebook page, "like" the page and follow the steps to upload a favorite photo of their pet or Tweeting and Instagraming their photo using the hashtag #CampBowWowPhoto. Friends, family members and co-workers can vote for a participant's photo once per day by also liking Camp Bow Wow on Facebook and sharing the photo through both Facebook and Twitter and pinning on Pinterest. The official rules and photo requirements are outlined on the Facebook page.

The 2014 Camp Bow Wow calendars will be available for purchase online for $14.99 through early November and will be available at select local Camp Bow Wow and Home Buddies locations. One-hundred percent of proceeds will benefit the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, Camp Bow Wow's non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives and health of pets everywhere.
