New York City's Richa Naujoks Appointed Co-chair of the ABA Section of International Law India Committee

September 3, 2013 - New York, NY. Richa Naujoks, one of the leaders of our South Asia team, has been appointed co-chair of the American Bar Association Section of International Law India Committee. The India Committee is focused on the evolving Indo–U.S. relationship and the policies, legal trends, and regulatory issues that impact India. It connects and guides the legal and business communities with programming, reports, and other resources.

Richa is a member of our Mergers & Acquisitions and Public Transactions teams. She represents clients in corporate transactions and capital raises, including early-stage and Series A financings, private equity investments, mergers, corporate roll-ups, distressed sales, and public company transactions. Richa’s clients range from large public companies to start-ups and, although she has experience in a wide range of industries, she focuses her work in health care transactions, IT, the food and beverage industry, and impact investment.

Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, Richa was a consultant with a project of the Indian Ministry of Corporate Affairs on corporate social responsibility in New Delhi, India, where she advised the project on corporate governance reforms and responsible finance. She is the co-founder and current member of the Governing Council of the Society of Women Lawyers India, New Delhi.
