Atomic Wings Signs Master Franchise Agreement to Expand to Mexico

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 - The authentic Buffalo wings that first started a craze in New York City almost twenty-five years ago are now set to expand to Mexico. Atomic Wings, which boasts an extensive menu of American classics, appeals to everyone from the consummate wing connoisseur, to casual diners looking for an authentic taste of New York. As of October 1st, 2013, Atomic Wings Franchisor signed a Master Franchise Agreement to bring Atomic Wings to Mexico. The company is committed to opening a minimum of 30 units throughout Mexico, with the first two locations set to open within the next 12 months.

As an upstate college freshman in 1981, Atomic Wings founder Adam Lippin fell in love with the taste of authentic Buffalo Chicken Wings, and realized that his mission in life was to bring this local delicacy to New York City. More than thirty years later, Atomic Wings has expanded beyond New York City to other Northeast hubs with over 30 franchises serving these Atomic Wings specialties. Most recently, Atomic Wings has seen success with their “Express Franchise” model, where existing bars and restaurants can maintain their current name and branding, but add the famous Atomic Wings items to their existing menu.

Managing Partner Martin Azambuya is excited and confident about the expansion to Mexico, and believes it will be received quite well in a market that is hungry for a taste of New York. “The recent explosion of the casual dining sector in Mexico presents a great opportunity for us,” he says. “The current fast casual market space in Mexico paired with our uniquely authentic menu, branding, and franchise model gives us great confidence that our business will translate seamlessly to an international market.
