Window Genie Announces Grand Opening in Kansas City, KS

Window Genie welcomes Matt Meade to their team. Window Genie of North Overland Park opens for business on Monday, October 14th.

Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 - Window Genie announces the grand opening of their newest location in Overland Park, KS. Matt Meade joins the team as owner/operator of the local franchise. Window Genie offers window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and much more. This is the third Window Genie franchise to open in the Kansas City area.

Before purchasing a Window Genie franchise, Meade worked for two different large corporations in the Kansas City area in a leadership development and training role. His most recent position was eliminated, and because he had always dreamed of owning his own business, he said, "This was just the catalyst pushing me towards finally doing it." He began his process in the spring of 2013, reading franchise magaznies, researching online and eventually ended up working with franchise consultant at The You Network, Nancy Wright. The You Network is a franchise consultation agency that helps prospective business owners find opportunities that best fit their strengths and goals. They came up with a list of a few franchises for Meade to look into deeper. He was able to narrow his list to three, Window Genie being one of his top choices.

"I wanted to be in the service industry, something that allowed me to regularly interact with customers and build relationships. Also, it was important that start-up costs be fairly low, and that I could operate from home. Window Genie fit all of these to a T," Meade said.

Once he spoke with Window Genie's founder and CEO, Rik Nonelle, Meade said Window Genie just "felt right." He was also able to speak to a number of existing Window Genie franchise owners, who he said were "100 percent consistent in terms of happiness and success. When I asked, all of them said if they could do it all over again they would buy a Window Genie franchise. What really tipped the scales was how much they praised the corporate staff for the ongoing training and support they offer. I had heard too many horror stories of people purchasing franchises and being left high and dry without much support or guidance. I really felt comfortable that Window Genie was a system that I could grow in because I'd always be set up for success."

Meade also worked with Phil Cansler, Regional Developer for Window Genie out of Kansas City. Meade and Cansler previously worked together at the same company. "It was amazing to learn that Phil was involved with Window Genie. I knew him from working with him years ago, and really respect him. Meeting with him and talking about the Window Genie concept from someone I know and trust was just another positive added to the whole big picture in the decision making process."
